Pim Pullens is a biomedical engineer (Eindhoven University of Technology, NL, 2006), who received his PhD in cognitive neuroscience in 2012 from the Maastricht University, NL. From 2006 to 2012 he worked at Brain Innovation BV, a company that develops a leading analysis package for functional MRI, structural neuroimaging and diffusion tensor imaging. Pim provided support for the company, developed software and taught courses in advanced neuroimaging around the world. From 2007-2012 he performed his PhD research in validation, correction and application of diffusion tensor imaging. Afterwards, he went to the University Medical Center Utrecht to work as a postdoc in animal neuroimaging. From October 2013, Pim worked as researcher in the dept. of Radiology, Antwerp University Hospital on the CENTER-TBI project, a project focusing on improving care for traumatic brain injury (TBI) patients. He worked on developing advanced neuroimaging tools for TBI. From March 2017, he works as MR Physicist in the MR physics group, department of Radiology, Universitair Ziekenhuis Brussel.
